Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey was a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka's career began in Minsk Belarus on 5 May 1998. Her career has seen her won twelve WTA singles titles. This includes one Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. In doubles, she is a great player. She's been a winner of two Majors with Elise Mertens The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. This year, the Belgian won two majors, the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed the Sunshine Double. This feat was only achieved by four couples playing in the women's doubles. In January of 2023 she was ranked the highest in singles. On the 23rd of August in 2021, she shot into the top two spots in the rankings. The Belarusian rose to the top of singles rankings the following year, after taking the title the doubles title in Melbourne. It made her the second Belarusian tennis player to have success on the court. Her coach was the former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the season in 2019 and from the beginning of 2020. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September of 2020. She has been trained by her father, Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
